Lido DAO approves Proposal 214 to deploy Dual Governance V1 parameters on Ethereum

Lido DAO has passed Proposal 214, with 58.2 million LDO used to vote in favor of the measure. The approved proposal will deploy parameters for Dual Governance V1 on the Ethereum mainnet. Under the framework, stETH holders will get a new mechanism that allows them to object to certain governance actions. The proposal also extends the related emergency governance delay period to 14 days. Lido DAO said the Dual Governance structure is designed to give users with assets inside the protocol, specifically stETH holders, a way to check governance decisions made by LDO holders.
